Happiness Over Starvation

Today in America people eat for happiness. The percentage of adults twenty and over that are obese is 69.2 %.The reason is more than three quarters of these men and women eat for fun, not when they are hungry. What about the children in Africa who are starving with diseases and health problems?Who is watching out for them? Why are we sitting here and waiting for something to happen when we have to make the first step?Yes, there are some camps but the government doesnt put enough money towards them.It isnt just in Africa, starvation is everywhere. And we all know that world hunger won't end tomorrow , but we can start doing something more than just eating for the fun of it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Honestly, in my opinion something needs to be done about this.We dont want to be known for survival of the fittest. That isnt right. We need to help or fellow friends for the better.Ever heard of the greater good?Exactly, make a difference for someone other than yourself.Who knows you might recieve something in return.                                                            How do you feel about all this? What are you willing to do?

Best of 2013!!!

2013 was amazing. So many extroardinary and exciting things happened.Like Paul Walker's death, "What Does The Fox Say?!", Boston Marrathon, etc.All of this was literally a punch in the face exspecially how fast 2013 went by.                                                                  First it was ....When two pressure cookers exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on April 15, the blast killed three people, injured more than 260 others, and put an entire nation on edge. The bombs — a crude mix of nails and shrapnel that tore through the crowd of cheering spectators, volunteers and proud, almost-finished runners — instantly transformed a moment of shared joy into one of collective terror. On April 17, the FBI sought the public’s help in identifying grainy surveillance images of two young men thought to be the perpetrators. The search took a violent turn just hours later when brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev allegedly shot and killed an MIT police officer and then exchanged fire with police as they tried to escape in a hijacked SUV. Tamerlan, 26, was killed in the fracas; his younger brother, Dzhokhar, 19, managed to escape. As day broke April 18, state officials shut down Boston area public transit and urged residents to “shelter in place” behind locked doors, effectively paralyzing a major American city. Police ultimately found a bloodied and dazed Dzhokhar hiding in a small boat, in which he allegedly wrote pro-Islamist messages with his own blood. He has pleaded “not guilty” to 30 charges related to the bombing, including 17 punishable by death. —Noah Rayman Read more: Top 10 Everything of 2013 - U.S. News Stories | TIME.com  http://nation.time.com/2013/12/04/top-10-best-u-s-news-stories/  ^^^^^More info  here^^^^^

Spending ThanksGiving With the Fam

Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated primarily in Canada and the United States as a day of thanks and blessing of the harvest that was proceeded this year. This is a day to spend time with family and friends. As we all sit by the table and remember the good times. Thankgiving shows us how important that is.Parades and festivals occur in honor of this special day.Schools, businesses, and post offiices are closed.                                                                                           In my opinion I think a lot more people should really focus on the importance of  this holiday.Yes, theres parades and no school ,but honestly most children probably stay home not caring and even if they did go to their families, Thanksgiving doesnt mean that much  to them.Schools need to teach more about this topic because its something that happened in our history that we should not forget.
